Product Introduction: Wear Plate Wear plate is a replaceable anti-abrasion protective component fitted inside the crosshead guide of triplex mud pumps, widely applied in oil drilling, geological exploration and horizontal directional trenchless construction. It is sandwiched between the crosshead outer surface and guide inner wall to bear sliding friction and alternating impact loads, protecting the costly crosshead and guide base from direct wear and damage. Manufactured from high wear-resistant alloy copper or bimetallic composite material, the wear plate features low friction coefficient, strong pressure resistance and outstanding anti-scuffing performance. Precision-machined surface with built-in oil storage grooves retains lubricating grease continuously during high-frequency reciprocating motion, effectively eliminating dry friction, overheating and metal seizing. Standard modular size design achieves universal interchangeability for most mainstream mud pump crosshead assemblies. Split embedded installation structure allows independent replacement without disassembling the entire power end frame, drastically cutting maintenance downtime and overhaul labor costs. The outer surface undergoes anti-corrosion treatment to adapt to humid, oil-stained and muddy open-air construction environments. Uniform thickness ensures stable running clearance of the crosshead, avoiding shaking, eccentric force and abnormal liner/piston abrasion caused by excessive clearance. Once worn beyond the tolerance range, only the low-cost wear plate needs to be replaced instead of the integral crosshead or guide, greatly lowering long-term operation spare parts expense. It maintains stable linear reciprocating motion of the transmission system, reduces pump vibration and pressure fluctuation, and serves as an essential consumable protective part to extend the service life of mud pump power-end core components.
